The Pontiac Community Players were founded in 2001 as the community theatre group of Pontiac County by Joan Conrod of Shawville, then incorporated as a non-profit organization with a board of directors in 2022. Over the years, the Pontiac Community Players have performed a multitude of plays, cabarets, murder-mysteries and musicals, in multiple venues across the Pontiac.  Innumerable hours have been contributed by a varied group of casts and crews to energize and vitalize our community with the dramatic arts, as well as having an awful lot of fun.
